HTC Desire Z Review

Smart phones are playing big roles in terms of achieving technological advancements, especially in the world of communications. Young professionals are hooked on this craze that everyone is sporting the latest in the smart phone “fashion.” HTC is constantly upgrading the already upgraded type of smart phone, each time trying to outdo its later version. The HTC Desire Z is another sibling of the HTC Desire family, and to better find out if it has flown above its brothers, here is a review on its features.

Features
The HTC Desire Z paired with the technology from Google has a QWERTY keyboard that is quite queer for a Google affiliated smart phone. The phone is also part of the category of “slider” phones where the keyboards are located underneath the screen. Its slider feature has been tweaked and re-tweaked to ensure a more comfortable and sophisticated use. HTC was able to improve the hinges and slider using what they call the “Z hinge” technology. Today, it’s no longer a hassle to slide up and type away, because the keys are proportionally and ergonomically positioned in the phone. To date, it is one of the aesthetically gifted of all HTC phones available in the market.

The Desire Z phone’s hardware is powered by an 800 MHz processor and Adreno 205 GPU. The phone also has a 512 MB of RAM. The phone’s response is quite fast though there moments when response time took a long time when navigating thru the phone’s user interface. But despite the somewhat frequent interruptions to the phone’s performance, HTC was able to improve the unit’s multi-tasking capabilities, you can now move between applications and programs with ease. The phone can also be used a multi-media player with acceptable sounds and picture.
The HTC Desire Z is packed with lots of options to customize your phone. It has Bluetooth connectivity and 3G capable. The memory is also expandable with an 8GB capacity.
The HTC Desire Z is camera challenged, meaning, the camera’s performance is quite the average. It however, has LED flash and auto-focus capabilities, but the photo’s still come out as taken from a soft-focus lens.
This smart phone’s battery is also pretty weak, with only a day’s work of phone activity. Plus there isn’t much of a difference from its HTC Desire brothers in terms of specifications and performance lev
