The debut Windows Phone 7 powered phone from Nokia

The debut Windows Phone 7 powered phone from Nokia will launch in the UK and in Italy, France, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands, as Espoo attempts to claw back its status as one of the world’s best smartphone makers.
Nokia Vice President Victor Seaijis revealed the launch regions, from which its domestic market of Finland is tellingly absent, in an address at the Telecom.paper Mobile NL 2011 conference.
Seaijis also reiterated that the first Nokia phone running Microsoft’s OS is scheduled to land before the year is out.

We’ve yet to have any official confirmation of an exact due date. However, it is known that the phone/phones are provisionally scheduled for release to coincide with the Mango version of the Windows Phone operating system.
That means we’re most likely looking at sometime in the autumn, by which time WP7 devices are expected from newly announced platform partners Acer, Fujitsu and ZTE and long-time affiliates LG, HTC and Samsung.
